Matthew 5:5
Brother, today we talked about gentleness. Gentleness is one single human character has been transformed by the Holy Spirit. At the time talked about gentleness, often times we either perceive or interpret the meek. I give an example:

1. The meek are a wise person

A gentle brother does not mean that person is never angry, but are the meek: he can control his anger, he knows when to be angry and when to refrain from anger.

Jesus called a gentle, patient person but that does not mean he was never angry. Even once a very, very angry. He was angry with extortionists and fraudsters who trade in the Temple. People who are meek man of wisdom because he can discern the truth and which is not one truth. He speaks with a gentle when taking important decisions, when faced with problems in his life he can handle it well. A gentle person who is assertive in taking decisions but full consideration.

3. The gentle person is a man of humility.

Preliminary
Brother two weeks ago we learned together about how God brought his people to turn to God. I. God wants us to love Him with a genuine love

Dear friends, when Jesus has redeemed our sins by His blood, we re-united with Him, And He wants us to love Him in earnest. He wanted the love of Him who has given to us by our responded.
Brother, why Hosea ignored his wife? Because his wife would be aware of Hosea Hosea's love for Him and respond to the love of Hosea .... Hosea's wife did not want to misunderstand about Hosea's redemption by him. Hosea want him to really understand that redemption is done differently with the redemption made by other men. Where they pay is not out of love and love them, but there is something behind what they do.

Brothers, the same thing God did for us today, God has redeemed us with his blood, God wants us to respond to God's love. God wants us to love Him as He loves us, God wants us to serve Him because we love Him, not because of what was done for us.

II. God wants us to have a true repentance

Why should we truly repent? First, we have seen from the side of God's love for us.

III. Test the faith of God's flock

What does Hosea is a picture of what God is doing to the nation of Israel and Judah. By the time they're back to God, repent and say love the Lord. God deliberately ignored them, to test them, whether they really have to repent and love God.
God allowed them to experience many difficulties, the Lord allowed them to face various challenges. There are no more prophets to remind them of their sins, they must be independent in their faith. This is where the real test of faith. So their faith in God, is not affected does not depend on others or to the prophets, judges or kings. They must determine their faith in God. This is where their faith is tested.
Brother, how to test the faith of someone? The best test of one's faith is not within the church, not in a community of believers, nor a Christian family in the middle. The best test is when we're not in church, when we live in an environment people interact not believe, when away from Christian friends, away from family. There we will be tested, whether we really still obey the word of God or not, still faithful to God or not. Examination at the time of our faith is a lonely place, where no one knows or sees us.
Brothers, in the life of our faith as believers sometimes, God seemed silent to us, for example, when we have a scrimmage in our lives, we pray, but God seemed silent. When God was silent and seemed not to hear us, hear the truth of God, but God will test our faith in Him. How big is our faith in Him. God wants us to repent genuinely, really, really love him, obey, obedience is not really apparent.
Brother there are many believers, when they came upon God, they did not experience a genuine repentance. Coming to the Lord God to heal illness, dating to the Lord so that the problem is solved, dating to the Lord because there is no work. Brother, God seemed silent, does not mean God was silent, but God will test our faith, we believe masihkan and sticking to his word.
Conclusion:
Brothers, through the Word of God today, we are reminded of three things, when God seemed silent in our lives:
First: God wants us to love Him in earnest
Second: God wants us to have a really repentance sunguh
Third: God wanted to test our faith.
Therefore, today if we feel that God is "silent" .. still seek Him
When God's "silence" .. keep persevering to do His will

Introduction:
Dear friends, I remember when my son Kevin was still the age of two years, this child is very great curiosity, a time when I was ironing, he asks what this is? May be borrowed, should be held? I say this should not be hot but he kept on trying to hold the iron. I say love this hot, she does not believe, always seize to hold, I was somewhat annoyed, why this kid does not believe the same daddy. Finally I let him touch a bit, after touching directly cried and cried, then he believed that the iron is really hot. Small children easily intrigued by something new, great curiosity, he always wanted to find out something
Brother, what do think about my child, I think that sometimes we like a little of my child before God. God through the Word of God, always admonish, forbid us either by gently until hard so that we do not do things that violate God's word, but sometimes we do not want to hear, we will try to do what is forbidden by God.
Bible records how, in the event fall of the first human sin, the Bible records they are tempted to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil because of the temptation of evil, but in fact if we look more clearly, in fact here is not solely because of the devil but the man himself, where the Bible says that man's view and noted that apparently the fruit of knowledge of good and evil that, attracted her and gives light. We human beings are sinners who are descendants of Adam and Eve also have a tendency as did Eve. God gave us free will for us is free to choose obedience to God or to sin or obey our wishes. When we choose to follow our desires, then we know there are consequences that we will encounter. If we are more obedient to our will, then God let us do what we think is good, he let us do our will, and he allowed us to receive the reward of what became our choice.
God always wants us sisters loyal to him, God always wants us to obey him, but we often do not obey the Lord, but God remains faithful he wanted to return to Him, so he used a variety of ways for us to get back to Him.
Brother this week we will learn from the book of Hosea chapter 2. From this second article we will learn about how God brings people who are not obedient and loyal to realize his mistake and turned to God.
Brothers, through the Word of God is at least three ways God brought the Israelites for their return to the Lord and I am sure this way God can use to us sinful human beings to be able to come back to Him, to worship and dating back to Him:
I. God let the man follow his own desires (2:1-4)
Paragraph 1-4, here gives us a clear picture about how God punishes the people of Israel who are not loyal. Here God punishes them by God to let them do what they think is right.
Brother, this means the same as the way I did to my child, have been admonished, dingatkan still insist, then I let it, if he felt the result would be realized, and finally know that what daddy says is true.
In this section as if God had no idea with his people, It is clear with God says that he's not my wife, and I'm not a husband, I will let him naked, let him like the day she was born, I will not love him, even until the kids ...
Why did God let his people for his people chose to follow her lover who according to him, giving him food and drink, sheep and property. They follow other gods. They left her husband a legitimate and prostituting herself with another man, or worship the Canaanite gods. So God let them with their choices.
God always wants his children to remain faithful to Him, God wants his people to worship only Him, so God sent the prophets to remind parishioners of the error and their sin, so they turned around, but humans have a tendency to fight against God, they did not turn over to God.
When they did not turn around, what is God doing? God let them, God memberikakan their free will to choose whether to follow God or follow his own path. With all the consequences they have experienced.
Brother when talking about this then I remembered about the parable of the Lord Jesus of the prodigal son, when the youngest child was asked to leave his inheritance to his father and his father. His father originally did not allow this but when the child still will not leave his father, his father allowed, although his father did not let her daughter go tegah. His father knows what the future will be experienced this child, but his father finally let her daughter follow her wishes. And what happened finally? Finally this kid realizes he's going to mistake.
Brother of the same things God has done to the nation of Israel through Hosea's wife's picture, in which Israel does not want to hear God's voice, they do what they think is good. According to their more promising idolatry, idol gives them something to eat and drink and even thanks to the excess. In fact they believe that all the abundance of all the blessings that they get all of that is not from God but from those going to other gods.
Brother indeed sometimes we see that getting something in a way that is not true, faster, look more fluent than wearing the right way. Relatives in the area there is a mace which was initially very, very poor, but suddenly become rich. The people around him really wonder why these people suddenly became rich suddenly. Dear friends, today if we are honest we can be successful for quick and instant do business legally, but illegal. Dear friends, This is a reality, today, we see that when we seek the right way seems so difficult for us to go, but we see around us, there are people whose lives are not right, trying in a way that is not true, but businesses and their lives seem fluent and good looks.
But when someone uses your own way, without wearing God's way, then God will let him in his own way. God always reminds his flock that they realize their mistake with a variety of ways, but if had repeatedly but they still did not hear the voice of God, then God let or let them do what they think is good .... But God still wants someday he'll realize that what he said was true turned out to be wrong and he will return to the Lord.
Brother of Israel, too, God had warned them through the prophets and their sins would be a mistake but they did not hear the voice of the Lord God gave them what they desire, because they no longer hear God's voice, they want to follow their own path. Therefore, God let them follow their path.
Dear friends, something very tragic in human life when God has abandoned us, let us live in sin, when God allowed to do what we desire. Why this is something terrible, why is something tragic, because human beings are basically unable to walk alone, humans are not capable of doing the right thing, people need to be guided by God. As the psalmist describe human beings, like sheep who can not walk alone, sheep are easy to get lost, who do not know the direction of the course.
Sheep can not walk alone, if the sheep do not walk alone what it would be left by the shepherd the sheep? Obviously he was lost, and eventually he could be eaten by wild animals. This is a picture of life we humans, when humans left the Lord and let the man follow his own path, then all will all lead to death.
Romans chapter 1:18-23 talks about how humans have departed from God, human beings know God but do not glorify God, man does not mengucapsyukur, people love the idols of the Lord. Loving God's creatures from the Lord who created, then verse 24 says: Therefore God gave them up to the desire of their hearts to impurity, so that they mutually contaminate their bodies. "
Application:
Our friend was grateful, at this time because we have a faithful God for us, through His son Jesus Christ. Although we are sinful, unfaithful God never leaves us, He does not let us walk by himself, he did not let us follow our ways. Jesus after he died he sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within our hearts. The Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts, to guide us, rebuke us, and reminds us of our didosa .

Brother, the first way God to bring us to Him that is by letting us in our sinfulness, with the aim that one day we can be aware of our mistakes and eventually turned to Him.
II. Cover all the blessings of God in human life (2:5-12)
Brother, what a pride of man? What makes people leave God? Relatives who often make people leave because God is tempted by the wealth .. tempted by the promised pleasures of the world.
Why did the Israelites from God and turned to worship idols? Brother at that time, the Canaanites believed that the source of blessing in their lives comes from the god of fertility and Baal. According to them Baal regarded as the giver of fertility to their farms. Israel apparently influenced by religion of the Canaanites, and they doubt and forget the promise of God to those who give them the land of Canaan, which is filled with milk and honey. They forget that the source of blessing, soil fertility and prosperity all originate from God, not from the gods worshiped by the Canaanites.
Therefore, when they have more confidence to the numbness of God, then God's disappointment and anger towards Israel. The Israelis think their God is God `wilderness' are not able to bless them in Canaan. Baal for the sake of Israel and the abundant life in the land of Canaan. Israel has been having an affair with Baal (verse 4) ..
How do I let them know God and believe that all the blessings that they found in Canaan is not derived from Baal, but from God;
Second, God's way of life they cover everything, cover the blessing of God in the life of Israel ..
Verses 5-6 "Therefore, behold, I will insulate the way with thorns, and build the wall, locked him so that he could not find his way.
This brother is a rather harsh way of Allah. Application: My brothers, as believers sometimes God can also do things such as when we had begun being unfaithful to the Lord, when more loving other things from the Lord. Then God will use God's way, he will close all the doors, our path to our respective gods for example through ill health, our business or bankrupt and more tragically, God destroyed the idols of ourselves segalah ie, all of which became our passion, that makes us not abandon God's faithful and taken by God. And what did God, for his people who do not repent, God punishes with a more severe penalty that made them again to his knees before God, that is in verse 11 God menimpahkan extraordinary pests that destroy their crop, so that they experience hunger and are not There they were proud of.
The culmination of all that is God's throwing them in Babylon for 70 years (Section 10) in Babylon they will not celebrate the feast days they used to celebrate, whether it's Easter and other celebrations, including those not able to worship on the Sabbath day.
Brother, ignorance hearts of the people unto the Lord, is actually a picture of our life with God. Sometimes God must wear a hard way to admonish us to turn to him. Sometimes we feel that we have is because of our efforts, and sometimes we are so proud of what we have, that we forget that behind all that we have no God who gives to us. So we do not feel obligated to give thanks to God, worship him.
III. God will restore and persuaded to return (2:13-22)
Brother, we worship the same God as our parents to our children, when our children make mistakes, then we condemn, as we condemn if we are good parents, then we will persuade him back, we forgive him. When we want to actually hit our goal so that he knows his mistakes. Why was he punished or beaten?
Civil God punish the people with a variety of punishments ranging from, sickness, conquered and plundered by the Assyrians, are experiencing hunger because they are experiencing outbreaks of lading fields and eventually exiled to Babylon, they were actually God's purpose to bring them back to God. Bringing them to return to worship God, acknowledging that God is more powerful than they worshiped Baal.
Relatives when the Israelites were in Babylon, where they were a lot of contemplating God's goodness, there they realized the goodness of God. The people of Israel just like the prodigal son who likened the Lord Jesus. After he went to the distant country where he experienced hunger, he became poor, then he realized that his father was so good and he longed to return home from his ancestors.
Likewise with Israel, in Babylonia they would realize their mistake, they want to return immediately but the Lord through the prophet Jeremiah said they had to wait 70 years, they have to undergo the punishment for a 70-year period the new God they will be returned to Israel.
Babel is the last place God's punishment for Israel, in Babylon they experience various sufferings, they experience how difficult life in a foreign country, they try very hard to get food, they were in slavery and all kinds of suffering. Various events that they experienced in Babylon finally opened their eyes, that what they do is not true, to hurt God, through this they realized their mistake, there they began to learn to re loyal to God, learn to be faithful to God. Learning to walk in the plan and will of God.
When they re-turned to God, God gives a promise of blessing, which God will give rich, peace, God pour out abundant blessings in their lives and even the biggest blessing is that God would make his wife his people for ever, he made his wife in in truth and justice and lovingkindness .. ,
Conclusion:
Brother, lives an unfaithful nation of Israel, portrayed through Hosea's unfaithful wife, could be a picture of our lives that are not loyal.
Today there may be among us who experience struggles, problems in her life, problems and struggles to come from the devil, from us due to our mistakes and carelessness, but it could be from God, whereby God wants to say hello, calling us from all our mistakes, through various issues and struggles in our lives.
The goal of all of them so that we turn from our will and desire is wrong, the will of God. For us to love God above all we love to earthly things.
Through the struggles and problems we face, God willing we will acknowledge his existence, going back to worship him, recognized the power and authority.
How does God rebuke and greet us, so we can turn to Him from us the wrong way? Through the problems and struggles of life that we experience. Menizinkan God we have problems ranging from minor problems, until a big problem that makes our knees before God.
Brother; if I can describe how God punishes the Israelites and correlated with the possibility that God punishes us as a child when the parents make mistakes. Firstly parents just scolded, if not with pinched, if you do not hear anymore, still duablek, diplasa, diplasa still do not want to hear ... if dipangkong (In languages indonesian) inevitably be surrendered.
Dear friends, today when we are far from God, we are not faithful to God, may the Lord a new rebuke us, if we do not hear God might just pinch us. Relatives when the Lord rebuked us, let us quickly turn to God, do not wait until the Lord, pinch, let alone hit us hard.

Berbahagialah orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah

BERBAHAGIALAH ORANG YANG MISKIN DIHADAPAN ALLAH
MAT IUS 5:3 Khotbah DM.4 juli 210
Saudara , selama berapa bulan ini kita akan membahas mengenai khotbah di bukit khususnya ucapan bahagia. Khotbah Yesus di bukit dapat dikatakan sebagai inti dari semua pengajaran Tuhan Yesus. Khotbah di bukit adalah suatu khotbah yang luar biasa, agung, ttp juga merupakan khotbah yang kontroversi. Ada orang yang mengatakan bahwa ini adalah sesuatu pengajaran yang ideal yang tidak mungkin dilakukan oleh manusia.
Karena apa yang dikatakan Yesus sepintas sangat sulit untuk di lakukan oleh manusia, dan berlawanan dengan kondisi real manusia misalnya dalam ucapan bahagia, berbahagialah orang yang miskin, mana mungkin orang miskin itu berbahagia, berbahagialah orang yang dianiaya, mana mungkin orang yang dianiaya itu berbahagia. Jikalau engkau ditampar pipi kirimu berilah pipi kananmu, pemahaman kita, kalau seseorang menampar kita maka minimal kita harus kembali tampar pipinya.
Apa yang dikatakan Yesus bukan saja membingungkan kita pada saat ini, tetapi bagi orang Yahudi pada waktu itu. Karena hokum taurat mengatakan bahwa mata ganti mata, gigi ganti gigi, nyawa ganti nyawa. Tetapi Yesus mengatakan hal yang sebaliknya. Yaitu jangan membalas kejahatan dengan kejahatan, kasihilah musuhmu dan berdoalah bagi mereka membenci kamu.
Namun saudara disinilah letak indah dan agungnya pengajaran Yesus, ini yang membedakan antara ajaran-ajaran agama lain dengan ajaran kekristenan. Khotbah di bukit bukan sesuatu yang sulit untuk diaplikasikan, tetapi dalam mengaplikasikan khotbah dibukit ini, kita membutuhkan pertolongan dan anugerah Tuhan, agar kita dimampukan utk mengaplikasikannya. Tanpa Tuhan kita tidak mampu mengaplikasikan khotbah di bukit ini dalam hidup kita.
Saudara hari ini kita membahas ucapan bahagia yang pertama yaitu berbahagialah orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah karena merekalah yang empunya kerajaan surge.
Ada beberapa kata kunci yang kita pelajari dari bagian ini;
Pertama : Kata “bahagia” berasal dari kata makarios, yang berarti blessed atau “sukacita.” Sangat menarik disini bahwa Yesus mengkorelasikan antara kebahagiaan dan kemiskinan. Kita memahami kebahagiaan itu identik dengan kekayaan, dengan segala kebutuhan tercukupi, kebahagiaan itu identik dengan rasa aman, tetapi Yesus mengatakan bahwa kebahagiaan seseorang atau sukacita, berkat itu ketika orang miskin dihadapan Allah.
Apa yang dimaksud oleh Tuhan Yesus dengan hal ini? Kata bahagia lebih menujuk kepada sukacita dalam kehidupan seseorang. Bagi Yesus kebahagiaan sejati tidak terletak kepada sesuatu yang berasal dai luar diri kita atau lahiriah, melainkan karena adanya karya Allah dalam Kristus yang dikaruniakan kepadanya.
Mengapa Yesus berbicara tentang kebahagiaan atau berkat dalam pengajarannya?
Karena pada dasarnya kebahagiaan itu merupakan hak yang mendasar atau hakiki setiap orang. Setiap manusia didalam dunia ini merindukan apa yang dinamakan kebahagiaan. Setiap orang berusaha untuk mencapai atau menemukan kebahagiaan. Namun kalau kita mau jujur, tak semua orang mampu merasakan dan menikmati kebahagiaan di dalam hidupnya. Ada banyak orang yang kaya di dalam dunia ini, ada banyak orang pintar di dalam dunia ini, ada banyak keluarga yang kelihatan luarnya bahagia tapi sebelah dalamnya menderita. Mengapa? Karena sebenarnya mereka tidak memiliki kebahagiaan yang sejati. Sehingga apapun yang mereka usahakan untuk menciptakan kebahagiaan didalam hidup mereka tetap mereka tidak bisa menemukan kebahagiaan itu.
Kebahagiaan sebenarnya hanya ada di dalam mereka yang sungguh-sungguh hidup di dalam Tuhan. Sehingga kemiskinan itu bukan alasan untuk tidak bisa menikmati kebahagiaan. Justru di dalam kemiskinan itu, Yesus mengatakan, "Berbahagialah orang yang miskin di hadapan Allah".

Kata yang kedua : yaitu kata “Miskin”
Ada dua kata "miskin" dalam Perjanjian Baru Yunani yaitu : "πενης - penês" dan "πτωχος - ptôkhos".
πενης - penês berarti miskin sedemikian rupa sehingga penghasilan sehari habis buat makan sehari. Orang seperti walaupun miskin tetapi tidak terlalu miskin, (dipakai pada janda miskin) karena ia masih ada penghasilan dan masih bisa makan. Orang miskin seperti ini banyak dan saya termasuk didalamnya, yaitu gaji sebulan habis sebulan, terkadang harus makan tabungan atau istilah beberapa rekan (MANTAB=makan tabungan dalam bahasa indonesia)
Sedangkan Kata πτωχοι- ptôkhoi, bentuk jamak dari "πτωχος - ptôkhos" berarti mereka yang hidup dari meminta sedekah. Seorang yang disebut ptokhos, maka orang tersebut bukan sekedar miskin tetapi sangat-sangat miskin. Bahkan lebih miskin dari peminta-minta di lampu merah di Pontianak. Kalau seorang peminta-minta di Pontianak, saya pernah melihat masih ada yang pake kalung emas, makanannya masih Ok, bahkan masih mampu beli rokok atau masih bisa dikatakan dia miskin “penes”. Artinya penghasilannya masih cukup untuk makan sehari, Tetapi yang dimaksud dengan ptokhos yaitu untuk makan sekali sehari saja sulit. Orang yang disebut pthokos adalah orang yang sangat miskin dan jika tidak ditolong maka dia akan mati.Atau dengan kata lain kehidupannya sangat tergantung pada orang lain. Kehidupannya tergantung kepada belas kasihan orang lain.
Kata yang dipakai oleh Tuhan Yesus dalam khotbah dibukit ini bukan Penes tetapi Ptokhos; yaitu seorang yang sangat-sangat miskin.
Tuhan Yesus katakan berbahagialah orang yang sangat-sangat miskin karena merekalah yang empunya kerajaan surga. Apakah Yesus mau mengatakan disini bahwa untuk dapat memperoleh kerajaan surge seseorang harus menjadi miskin terlebih dahulu? Atau apakah Yesus mau katakana bahwa untuk mendapat kebahagiaan seseorang harus menjadi miskin terlebih dahulu? Tidak seperti demikian, walau dalam bagian firman Tuhan yg lain Yesus selalu mengatakan bahwa orang kaya sulit masuk kerajaan surge, tetapi Yesus tidak penah bermaksud bahwa untuk memiliki kerajaan surge seseornag harus menjadi seorang miskin secara materi..
Kata "πτωχος - ptôkhos" ini digunakan oleh Matius memiliki makna spiritual ditujukan kepada mereka yang miskin secara rohani. Mengapa bukan orang yg kaya secara rohani yang memiliki kerajaan surga?
Mengapa orang yang miskin (secara rohani) dihadapan Allah disebut orang yang berbahagia dan memiliki kerajaan Allah?
1. Lapar dan Haus akan kebenaran Firman Tuhan
Saudara dalam kitab Mazmur, pemazmur selalu mengkorelasikan antara kebahagiaan dengan hidup dalam terang firman Tuhan. Seorang yang bahagia adalah seorang yang selalu ada dalam terang firman Tuhan Pemazmur katakan hatiku haus akan firmanmu, seperti rusa yang rindu akan air demikian hatiku rindu akan firman Tuhan.
Orang yang bahagia adalah orang yang senantiasa merasa haus akan Firman Allah di dalam hidupnya. Sehingga ia harus terus mencari dan mendapatkan Firman Tuhan. Ini yang dimaksud dengan orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah.
Saudara, seseorang tidak akan bertumbuh dalam iman kepada Tuhan jikalau ia tidak memiliki hati yang haus akan firman Tuhan. Tetapi seorang yang bertumbuh adalah seorang yang mau mencari dan terus mau belajar firman Tuhan.
Saudara, kata miskin atau ptokhos adalah orang miskin yang selalu mengharapkan petolongan orang lain untuk hidupnya, demikian dengan orang miskin secara rohani, dia merasa bahwa dirinya tidak bisa hidup dan berjalan dalam dunia tanpa tuntunan firman Tuhan didalam dunia ini.
Oleh sebab itu dia terus merasa haus akan firman Tuhan, dia merasa bahwa dia tidak bisa hidup tanpa firman Tuhan. Dia selalu merasa lapar dan haus untuk diisi oleh firman Tuhan.
Pernahkah saudara merasa sangat-sangat lapar atau haus? Tentunya kita pernah merasakan lapar dan haus, tetapi perasaan lapar dan haus kita mungkin karena ada banyak kerja yg akan kita lakukan, oleh sebab itu kita menunda waktu kita makan, tetapi makanan itu ada kalaupun tidak ada di rumah, kita bisa membeli. Tetapi pernahkah saudara merasakan lapar, tetapi tidak ada yang mau dimakan, dan juga tidak ada uang untuk membeli makanan…ini adalah suatu penderitaan yang luar biasa. Ini adalah gambaran orang yg disebut ptochos…
Oleh sebab itu yang pertama; orang yang bagaiamana yang disebut orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah? Orang miskin dihadapan Allah adalah orang yang lapar dan haus akan firman Tuhan.
Jadi, kata miskin disini lebih menekankan akan kebutuhan manusia dari aspek spiritual.
Manusia tidak saja terdiri hal yang bersifat jasmani tetapi rohani. Manusia tidak sekedar membutuhkan hal-hal yang bersifat jasmani tetapi juga hal-hal yang bersifat rohani atau spiritual. Manusia bisa saja sehat secara jasmani tetapi bisa saja sakit secara rohani. Sakit secara rohani akan lebih berbahaya dari sakit secara jasmani. Kalau orang sakit jasmani yang merasakannya hanya diri sendiri, tetapi orang yang sakit secara rohani akan mempengaruhi akan hubungannya dengan Tuhan dan juga dengan sesame.
Saudara. Manusia bisa saja tidak mengalami kepuasan secara jasmani namun jangan sampai kebutuhan rohani tidak terpenuhi karena jikalau kebutuhan rohani tidak terpenuhi maka dia akan mengalami masalah dalam hidupnya. Orang yang dipuaskan secara rohaninya dengan sendiri ia akan mengalami kepuasan secara jasmani.
Bagaimana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual kita? Tidak ada cara lain selain kita harus hidup dalam terang firmanmu.
Yang kedua orang yang bagaimana yang disebut orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah?
2. Berharap dan bergantung sepenuhnya hanya kepada Allah
Saudara, kata miskin (ptokhos) adalah orang yang sangat miskin, sehingga seluruh kehidupannya tergantung pada belas kasihan orang lain. Dia akan mati, jikalau tidak ditolong orang lain. Contemporary English Version yang tersurat: “Who depend only on Him”.
Kata miskin (ptokhos) ini juga yang dipakai Lukas kepada Lazarus dalam Luk.16:22, yang menyatakan betapa miskin Lazarus itu sendiri, sehingga untuk hidupnya bergantung kepada makanan yang jatuh dari meja orang kaya. Namun satu hal yg kontras terjadi setelah dua-dua meninggal Lazarus yang miskin menikmati kebahagiaan, sedangkan orang kaya mengalami penderitaan.
Saudara, Ini adalah gambaran mengenai kemiskinan dihadapan Allah? Orang yg miskin dihadapan Allah adalah orang yang selalu bergantung kepada Allah. Oleh sebab itu orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah, yaitu orang yang selalu berharap kepada Tuhan, dia akan merasa bahwa dirinya tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa tanpa ada Tuhan yang menolong dirinya. Sehingga dia selalu berharap dan bersandar kepada Tuhan.
Aplikasi: Kalau kisah masih bergantung pada diri kita sendiri, atau kekayaan kita, maka kita bukan org yg miskin dihadapn Allah, masih ada yang kita andalkan dalam hidup kita, kita bukanlah org yg miskin dihadapan Allah.
Seorang yang miskin dihadapan Allah, sama seperti seorang anak kecil tidak bisa hidup tanpa bantuan orang tuanya atau orang lain, sehingga itu Yesus menggambarkan bahwa iman yang benar seperti iman seorang anak kecil, selain kepolosan dan kejujurannya, tetapi juga ketergantungan kepada orang lain.
Orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah adalah orang yang memiliki ketergantungan dengan Tuhan, sama seperti ranting dari pokok anggur (Yohanes 15) ranting tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan pokok anggur, kalau dipisahkan dia akan mati demikian juga dengan orang miskin dihadapan Allah. Ada banyak orang terpenuhi hidupnya secara jasmani namun kebutuhan rohani tidak tercukupi,
Allah menghendaki manusia miskin di hadapan-Nya, bukan miskin di hadapan manusia. Miskin di hadapan Allah sebenarnya menujukan kepada kita akan kebutuhan dan ketergantungan kita kepada Allah. Baik dalam hal jasmani maupun dalam hal rohani.
Aplikasi: Bagaimana menguji ketergantungan seseorang kepada Tuhan? Untuk mengetahui bahwa kita bergantung dan beharap kepada Tuhan bukan ketika kita mengalami kesulitan, atau tantangan, tetapi ketika hidup kita baik…Kalau mengalami kesulitan, secara otomatis kita akan bergantung kepada Tuhan. Tetapi bagaimana kalau hidup kita aman-aman berkecukapan, masihkah kita bergantung dan beharap kepada Tuhan?
Sdr. Orang yang miskin dihadapan Tuhan adalah orang bergantung sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan.
3. Rendah hati dihadapan Allah
Sdr.tidak ada orang yang miskin yang sombong, tidak ada orang yang kekurangan atau seorang peminta-minta yang angkuh. Mengapa ? karena mereka sadar bahwa mereka membutuhkan belas kasihan dari orang lain. Sehingga kita bisa menyimpulkan bahwa orang miskin biasanya adalah seorang yang rendah hati. Dalam Alkitab terjemahan lama menerjemahkan berbahagialah orang yang rendah hatinya….
Mengapa orang rendah hati disebut berbahagia dan memiliki kerajaan surge? Karena kerendahan hati adalah adalah awal dari pertobatan seseorang. Seseorang yang merasa dirinya hebat, layak sebenarnya adalah orang yang tidak layak dihadapan Tuhan. Orang yg merasa mampu dan hebat akan sulit untuk mengakui bahwa dia adalah orang yang berdosa, bertobat dan percaya kepada Tuhan.
Paulus, sebelum dia bertemu dengan Yesus dia seorang yang keras, seorang yang tidak mau merendahkan diri, tetapi Yesus memukul dia, dan akhirnya dengan kerendahan hati ia mengakui Yesus, dan mempersembahkan hidupnya untuk Tuhan.
Pemazmur mengatakan bahwa; persembahan yang berkenan kepada Tuhan adalah hati yang hancur, dan remuk, hati yg merasa tidak layak dihadapan Tuhan, itulah yg layak dihadapan Tuhan.
Saudara, pada satu saat murid-murid Yesus dating kepada Yesus dan bertanya tentang siapa yang terbesar adalam kerajaan surga? Dia menjawab dengan menempatkan seorang anak kecil di tengah-tengah mereka dan berkata, "Barang siapa ingin menjadi besar maka ia harus merendahkan diri dan menjadi seperti anak kecil ini.”
Jim Colins seorang penulis buku bisnis terlaris, dia mengadakan penelitian terhadap perusahan-perusahan yang awalnya biasa-biasa dan akhirnya menjadi perusahan yang besar, dia menemukan bahwa perusahaan-perusahan tersebut bisa maju dengan pesat disebabkan karena pemimpin-pemimpin perusahan menerapkan dua karakteristik dalam perusahannya yaitu personal humility dan professional will. Kombinasi kedua hal ini adalah sesuatu yang paradox. Karena seringkali kita mendengar bahwa sangat sulit untuk mengkombinasikan antara profesionalisme dan kerendahan hati. Namun penelitian dari Collins adalah suatu luar biasa, kombinasi antara profesionalisme dan kerendahan hati menghasilkan suatu hasil yang luar biasa. Perusahan-perusahan tersebut berkembang dengan luar biasa.
Apa yang diutarakan Jim Collins, dalam bukunya membuat kita tertegun.. Betapa tidak? Pemimpin bisnis sekuler mengadopsi kerendahan hati yang adalah ide biblikal (meski mereka tidak menyadari ide tersebut berasal dari Alkitab), sementara pemimpin Kristen/org kristen malah meninggalkn hal yang biblikal. Jadi bisnis semakin biblikal, umat Allah semakin sekuler. Bahkan kalau mau jujur, banyak gereja-gereja menerapkan dan memasukan hal-hal sekuler kedalam gereja dari pada hal yg biblical. Pengajaran bisa biblical, tetapi penerapan sekuler. Misalnya; kepemimpinan di gereja diterapkan seperti perusahan, menekankan profesionalisme kerja, mungin itu baik, tetapi dalam menjalankan hal tersebut tidak disertai dengan personal humility (pribadi yg rendah hati) tetapi kepada system otoriter.
Tidak lagi menerapkan nilai-nilai pelayanan di dalam gereja, nilai-nilai kasih semakin jauh dari gereja. Ada gereja tertentu yang memperlakukan para pelayannya seperti karyawan, kamu di bayar maka kamu harus tunduk dan taat. Oleh karena seperti demikian maka ada hamba Tuhan mulai hitung-hitung saya di bayar hanya seperti ini ya saya melayani seperti bayarannya. Kalau gereja seperti ini sangat berbahaya. Kalau hamba Tuhan sperti ini sangat berbahaya.
Sdr. Senin yg lalu kami liburan ke pantai, nginap disalah satu hotel, penginapan, saya melihat bagaimana pelayanan mereka kepada kami, itu sangat luar biasa. Itu dunia bisnis, di gereja bagaimana? Apakah konsep itu masih ada atau tidak di gereja??
Merenungkan apa yang dikatakan Jim Collins ini, saya memikirkan mengenai apa yang dikatakan oleh Tuhan Yesus bahwa menjadi seorang besar dalam kerajaan surga, maka syaratnya harus menjadi seorang rendah hati.
Mengapa orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah adalah orang yang rendah hati; karena hanya dengan kerendahan hati kita dimampukan dapat dating menghadap Tuhan, Alkitab mengatakan Allah sangat senang dengan orang yang rendah hati tetapi Allah membenci keangkuhan dan kesombongan.
Apa yang dimaksud dengan kerendahan hati? Kerendahan hati adalah kita mengerti posisi diri kita dengan tepat dihadapan Tuhan. Seorang yang rendah hati bukanlah seorang yang mengatakan bahwa ia tidak memiliki kemampuan apapun dan tidak mampu melakukan segala sesuatu (karena itu berarti menghina Tuhan penciptaNya), namun seorang yang mengatakan bahwa semua kemampuannya berasal dari Tuhan dan ia mampu melakukan sesuatu karena Tuhan yang memampukan. Bahkan tanpa Tuhan, ia sama sekali bukan apa-apa.
Oleh sebab itu Tuhan memanggil kita untuk memilliki kerendahan hati dihadapanNya, dan mengakui ketidakberdayaan kita dihadapan Tuhan; dan membutuhkan Tuhan dalam hidup kita;
Hal-hal yang kita butuhkan dalam hidup kita? Pertama, kita membutuhkan Tuhan untuk membebaskan kita dari dosa dan menyelamatkan kita. Kedua, Kita tidak sanggup menjalani hari hidup kita tanpa Tuhan.
Kesimpulan:
Saudara, hanya orang yang benar-benar menyadari bahwa dia miskin dihadapan Allah, yang berhak memperoleh kerajaan surga dan memperoleh kebahagiaan sejati. Oleh sebab itu hal yang harus kita lakukan adalah kita harus terus merasa miskin dihadapan Tuhan, yaitu kita harus selalu haus akan firman Tuhan, hidup bergantung total kepada Tuhan dan hidup rendah hati dihadapan Tuhan. Dear friends, during these few months we will discuss about the Sermon on the Mount in particular beatitude. Jesus' Sermon on the Mount can be considered as the core of all teaching of the Lord Jesus. Sermons on the hill is a great sermon, great, TTP is also a controversial sermon. There are people who say that this is an ideal teaching something that can not be done by humans.
Because of what Jesus said in the face of very difficult to do by men, and in contrast to real human conditions such as in the beatitude, blessed are the poor, how could the poor are blessed, blessed are the persecuted, how could people who were persecuted happy. If you give your left cheek slap your right cheek, our understanding, if someone slaps us then we should return at least slap on the cheek.
What does it say Jesus is not only confusing us at the moment, but for Jews at that time. Because the law says that law an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, life changing lives. But Jesus says the opposite. That is not to repay evil with evil, love your enemies and pray for them to hate you.
But the brother of a beautiful and regal this is the teaching of Jesus, this is what distinguishes between the teachings of other religions with the teachings of Christianity. Sermon on the Mount is not something that is difficult to apply, but in applying the Mount sermon, we need the help and grace of God, so we are enabled to apply it. Without God we are not able to apply the Sermon on the Mount is in our lives.
Brother today we discuss the first beatitude is blessed are the poor before God for theirs is the kingdom of surge.
There are some keywords that we learned from this section;
First: The word "happy" is derived from the word Makarios, which means Blessed, or "joy." It is interesting here that Jesus correlate between happiness and poverty. We understand happiness is synonymous with wealth, with all its needs fulfilled, happiness was synonymous with safety, but Jesus said that a person's happiness or joy, thanks to the presence of God when people are poor.
What is meant by the Lord Jesus with this? The word happy is more menujuk to joy in one's life. For Jesus, true happiness lies not in something that comes out of ourselves dai or outward, but because of the work of God in Christ is given to him.
Why did Jesus talk about happiness or blessing in his teaching?
Because, basically, that happiness is a fundamental or essential rights of every person. Every man in this world miss what is called happiness. Everyone was trying to reach or find happiness. But if we're honest, not everyone can feel and enjoy the happiness in her life. There are many rich people in this world, there are many smart people in this world, there are many families who seem happier outside but next to it suffered. Why? Because they do not have true happiness. So anything they try to create happiness in their lives they still can not find happiness.
Happiness is in fact only those who truly live in God. So that poverty is no excuse to not be able to enjoy happiness. Precisely in poverty, Jesus says, "Blessed are the poor in spirit."

Said the second: the word "Poor"
There were two words "poor" in the Greek New Testament, namely: "πενης - penês" and "πτωχος - ptôkhos".
πενης - penês mean poor so that the daily income to eat out daily. As though poor people but not too poor, (used on poor widows) because he was still there and still eat income. Poor people like this a lot and I included, which discharged a month salary a month, sometimes have to eat some of the savings or term partner (MANTAB = ate savings in the Indonesian language)
While word-ptôkhoi πτωχοι, plural of "πτωχος - ptôkhos" means those who live by begging alms. A so-called ptokhos, then that person is not just poor but very, very poor. Even poorer than beggars at traffic lights in Pontianak. If a beggar in Pontianak, I've seen with this there is still a gold necklace, the food is still ok, even still able to buy cigarettes or could still say he's poor "penes". That means their income is still enough for a meal a day, but is a ptokhos is to eat only once a day is difficult. The person who called pthokos is very poor and if not then he will mati.Atau helped in other words life is very dependent on others. His life depends on the mercy of others.
The word used by Jesus in the Sermon the Mount, but this is not Penes Ptokhos; is a very, very poor.
The Lord Jesus said blessed are those who very, very poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Did Jesus want to say here that in order to obtain the kingdom of surge person must be poor first? Or whether Jesus would katakana that to get happiness one must be poor first? Not as such, although in other parts of the Lord Jesus who said that the rich always difficult to enter the kingdom of surge, but Jesus did not intend that to have penah surge seseornag kingdom must be a materially poor ..
The word "πτωχος - ptôkhos" was used by Matthew has a spiritual meaning to those who are spiritually poor. Why are not people who are spiritually rich who have the kingdom of heaven?
Why are the poor (spiritually) before God called the people happy and have the kingdom of God?
1. Hungry and Thirsty for the truth of God's Word
Brothers in the book of Psalms, the psalmist always correlate between happiness with life in the light of God's word. A person who is happy is a man who is always there in light of the psalmist says God told my heart hunger for your Word, like a deer longing for water my heart so long for the word of God.
Happy people are those who always feel thirsty for the Word of God in his life. So he must continue to seek and obtain God's Word. This is the people who are poor before God.
Brother, someone will not grow in faith in God if he did not have a heart thirsty for God's word. But a growing is a man who would seek and continue to want to learn the word of God.
Brothers, said ptokhos is poor or poor people who always expect petolongan others to life, so with the poor in spirit, he feels that he can not live and walk in a world without the guidance of the word God in this world.
Therefore, he continued to feel hungry for the word of God, he felt that he could not live without the word of God. He always felt hungry and thirsty to be filled by the word of God.
Have you felt very, very hungry or thirsty? Of course, we never feel hungry and thirsty, but feeling hungry and thirsty we probably because there are many who work will be done, therefore we postpone the time we eat, but the food is there if not at home, we can buy. But the brothers ever feel hungry, but nobody wants to eat, and also no money to buy food ... this is an extraordinary suffering. This is a picture of someone who called ptochos ...
Therefore, first; people bagaiamana called the poor man before God? Poor people before God are those who hunger and thirst for the word of God.
Thus, the word poor here will emphasize the spiritual aspects of human needs.
Humans are not just made up things carnal but spiritual. Humans do not just take things that are physical but also the things that are spiritual or spiritual. Man can only be physically healthy but it may be spiritually sick. Spiritually sick would be more harmful than physically ill. If people feel that physical pain is only yourself, but people who are spiritually ill will affect his relationship with God and also with sesame.
Brother. We may not experience bodily satisfaction but not to the spiritual needs not being met because if the spiritual needs not met then he will have trouble in his life. People who are spiritually satisfied with himself he will experience an carnal satisfaction.
How to meet our spiritual needs? There is no other way than we have to live in the light of Your Word.
The second is how the people who called the poor man before God?
2. Hoping and relying entirely only to God
Brothers, said poor (ptokhos) is very poor, so that his whole life at the mercy of others. He will die, if not helped others. Contemporary Bahasa Indonesia it is written: "Who Depend on Him only."

Application: If the story is still depend on ourselves, or our wealth, then we are not poor dihadapn someone that God is still there that we rely on in our lives, someone that we are not poor before God.
A poor before God, just like a small child can not live without the help of their parents or someone else, so it was Jesus illustrates that the true faith as the faith of a child, other than innocence and honesty, but also dependence on others.
People who are poor before God is a person who has a dependency with God, just like the twigs of the vine (John 15) can not be separated by a branch of the vine, he would die if separated as well as the poor man before God. There are a lot of people are physically but his life is fulfilled spiritual needs are not fulfilled,
Allah willed the poor man before him, rather than poor in humans. Poor in spirit we will be actually directed to the needs and our dependence on God. Both in terms of physical and spiritual matters.
Applications: How to test the dependency of a person to God? To know that we depend and beharap to God not when we are having difficulty, or challenge, but when our lives better ... If you have difficulties, we are automatically going to depend on God. But what if our life was safe berkecukapan, do we depend and beharap to God?
Mr. People who are poor before God are those relying entirely to God.
3. Before God humbly
Sdr.tidak there are arrogant people who are poor, there is no shortage of people or a beggar who arrogantly. Why? because they realize that they need the mercy of others. So we can conclude that the poor people is normally a low heart. In the old translations of the Bible translate the blessed are low heart ....
Why would people be happy and humbled to have the kingdom called surge? Because humility is the beginning of repentance someone. Someone who thinks he's great, decent people who really are not worthy before God. People who feel capable and powerful it would be difficult to admit that he is a sinner, repent and believe in God.
Paul, before he met Jesus he's a tough, one who will not humble himself, but he beat him, and finally with the humility he recognizes Jesus, and offered his life to God.
The Psalmist says; offerings that are pleasing to God is a broken heart, and crushed, hearts who feel unworthy before God, before God's propriety.
Brothers, at one time Jesus' disciples came to Jesus and asked about who the biggest adalam kingdom of heaven? He responded by placing a child in their midst and said, "Whoever wants to be big so he must humble himself and become like little children."
Jim Colins a best-selling business book author, he conducted research on companies-companies whose ordinary initially and eventually become a large company, he found that these enterprises can thrive due to company leaders in his company is using two characteristics that Humility personal and professional will. Combination of these two things is something that paradox. Because we often hear that it is very difficult to combine professionalism and humility. However, the study of Collins is an incredible combination of professionalism and humility to produce a remarkable result. Company-the company has developed amazingly.
What was stated Jim Collins, in his book to make us stunned .. Why not? Secular business leaders to adopt a humility that is the biblical ideas (though they do not realize that idea comes from the Bible), while Christian leaders / org instead meninggalkn christian biblical thing. So businesses increasingly biblical, God's people increasingly secular. Even if you're honest, many of the churches to apply and incorporate these things into the secular church of the biblical thing. Teaching can be biblical, but the application of secular. For example, the leadership in the church applied to such companies, emphasizing the professionalism of the work, mungin was good, but in running it is not accompanied by a personal Humility (depression personal care) but to the authoritarian system.
No longer apply the values of service in the church, the values of love even further away from the church. There are certain churches who treats his servants as employees, you are on a paid, then you should be submissive and obedient. Pondering what Jim Collins said this, I thought about what was said by the Lord Jesus that became a major in the kingdom of heaven, it must be a condition of humility.
Why are the poor before God is a humble person, because only with humility enabled us can come to God, the Bible says God is very pleased with the humble people but God hates pride and arrogance.
What is humility? Humility is that we understand ourselves in a proper position before God. A humble is not a man who says that he does not have any skills and are unable to do anything (because it means insulting God the creator), but a man who says that all of his ability comes from God and he was able to do something because God enabled. Even without God, he was not nothing.
Therefore, God calls us to memilliki humility before Him, and acknowledge our powerlessness before God, and need God in our lives;
The things we need in our lives? First, we need God to free us from sin and saved us. Secondly, we are not able to live our lives without God's day.
Conclusion:
Dear friends, only people who truly realize that she is poor before God, who is entitled to the kingdom of heaven and obtain true happiness. Therefore we have to do things is that we must continue to feel poor before God, that we must always thirsty for the word of God, depending on the total life to God and to live humbly before God. Berbahagialah orang Yang berdukacita
Matius 5:4

Saudara... Minggu yang lalu kita sudah berbicara mengenai, ucapan bahagia yg pertama yaitu berbahagialah orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah karena mereka yang empunya kerajaan surga. Kita sudah Berbicara mengenai apa yang dimaksud dengan bebrhagialah orang yang miskin dihadapn Allah, pertama; orang yang miskin dihadapan Allah adalah orang yang lapar dan haus akan kebenaran Firman Tuhan; kedua: Bergantung sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan; ketiga: rendah hati dihadapan Tuhan.
Hari ini kita berbicara mengenai berbahagailah orang yang berdukacita; Mengapa Tuhan Yesus mengatakan berbahagialah orang yang berdukacita karena mereka akan di hibur? Apa yang dikatakan Yesus adalah suatu kontradiksi. Pengajaran Yesus ini tentu bertentangan dengan pemikiran dunia. Dalam dunia dukacita bukanlah suatu kebahagiaan. Bahkan dalam kepercayaan beberapa suku termasuk orang tiong hoa bahwa dukacita identik dengan kesialan. Oleh sebab itu banyak sekali adat-adat dan tradisi yang mengatur mengenai dukacita, atau berhubungan dengan orang meninggal.
Satu saat saya menghadiri meninggalnya orang tua murid di Pinyu, dalam perjalanan pulang dari pemakaman, saya kebetulan mengenal ada satu ibu yang rumahnya kami lewati karena saya mengenal ibu ini, maka saya mau mampir, tetapi ada satu orang yang mengatakan kepada kalau pulang dari pemakaman tidak boleh mampir di rumah orang nanti bapak akan bawa sial untuk keluarga mereka…akhirnya saya tidak jadi mampir, hanya melambaikan tangan… saudara itulah kepercayaan dari orang-orang yang tidak mengenal Tuhan. Bahwa kematian adalah suatu yg membawa sial. Bahkan ada satu suku dalam liturgy ibadah duka ada satu acara menangis, jadi liturgisnya meminta keluarga untuk menangis untuk yang terakhir , yang tidak ingin menangis dipaksa atau terpaksa harus menangis.
Saudara. Kalau kita berdukacita maka tidak mudah untuk kita dapat di hibur, apalagi bisa berbahagia. Apalagi kalau yang meninggal adalah orang yang kita kasihi atau benda yang sangat berharga. Beberapa waktu lalu ada seorang ibu yg kehilangan uang yang begitu banya, dia begitu sedih, dan begitu sulit untuk meluapakan uangnya itu. Kami coba menghibur tetapi orang ini sulit untuk menerima.
Nah..saudara apa yang dimaksud Tuhan Yesus dengan berbahagialah orang yang berdukacita, karena mereka akan di hibur.
Pertama, kita harus bertanya: apakah yang dimaksud dengan dukacita yang disebutkan di sini? Apakah Tuhan Yesus, mau berbicara mengenai orang yang berduka yang kehilangan orang yang dikasihi, atau Tuhan Yesus berbicara orang yang sedih karena kehilangan benda yang berharga? Atau ada arti yang lain?
Kedua: Apakah arti penghiburan yang Tuhan Yesus maksudkan disini? Apakah artinya bahwa 'mereka akan dihibur'? Apakah itu bermaksud, bahwa anda akan merasa senang, bahwa Tuhan Yesus akan membuat anda merasa senang kembali karena anda telah mengalami waktu yang menyedihkan? Nah, kita harus memahami kedalaman rohani dari ajaran Yesus ini.
Secara ringkas, penghiburan di dalam firman Tuhan, pada dasarnya berhubungan dengan keselamatan. Dihiburkan di dalam firman Tuhan, tidak semata-mata berarti diberikan satu perasaan yang senang, atau seperti seorang anak kecil yang sedih lalu di kasih permen, langsung ketawa dan loncat-loncat---( sama dengan anak kita, waktu dia sedih biasanya, kita cium atau kasih permen dan ia terhibur) . Penghiburan berhubungan dengan penghiburan keselamatan.
Dalam perjanjian lama; penghiburan akibat dukacita selalu ditujukan kepada hal-hal yang menyangkut keselamatan: Misalnya dalam Yeremia 31:13, , "Aku akan mengubah perkabungan mereka menjadi kegirangan, akan menghibur mereka dan menyukakan mereka sesudah kedukaan mereka." Bila kita melihat konteks ayat ini, anda akan perhatikan bahwa ia berhubungan dengan keselamatan bangsa Yahudi, keselamatan bangsa Israel. "Aku akan mengubah perkabungan mereka menjadi kegirangan, kedukaan mereka menjadi kesukaan."
Mazmur 30:12-13 mengatakan sesuatu yang hampir serupa, "Aku yang meratap telah Kauubah menjadi orang yang menari-nari, kain kabungku telah Kaubuka, pinggangku Kau ikat dengan sukacita, supaya jiwaku menyanyikan mazmur bagi-Mu dan jangan berdiam diri. TUHAN, Allahku, untuk selama-lamanya aku mau menyanyikan syukur bagi-Mu."
Di sini pemazmur menyaksikan bahwa Allah telah mengubah ratapannya menjadi tarian, menjadi kegembiraan karena sukacita...Bila kita memperhatikan semua ini, maka kita dapat melihat bahwa penghiburan ini berhubungan dengan keselamatan. Yang dimaksud dengan penghiburan disini adalah berhubungan dengan keselamatan seseorang dari dosa, kepada kehidupan kekal .
Lalu apa yang dimaksud dengan dukacita ? Atau orang yg berdukacita seperti apa yang disebut bahagia? Bagian ini tidak berbicara tentang dukacita karena ditinggal orang yang kita kasihi atau benda-benda yang kita miliki.
Lalu apa yang dimaksud Tuhan Yesus, dukacita disini:
I. Dukacita oleh karena dosa
Saudara, dalam Perjanjian lama maupun Perjanjian Baru banyak mencatat orang yang berdukacita, karena dosa yang mereka lakukan; misalnya dalam Lukas Tuhan Yesus memberi perumpamaan tentang orang farisi dan pemungut cukai berdoa, orang farisi berdoa, bersyukur bhw aku tidak sama dengan orang lain, bukan perampok, lalim, bukan pezinah dan bukan seperti pemungut cukai, ttp pemungut cukai berdoa, dengan hati yang remuk ia datang kepada Tuhan, ia tidak berani menatap kelangit, berdiri jauh-jauh dan dan sambil memukul dirinya; dia mengatakan Ya Allah kasihanilah aku, aku orang berdosa.. Zakheus…
Sdr. Pemungut cukai ini, sadar akan dosanya, dan dia sangat sedih dengan dosa yang dilakukan, orang seperti ini yang disebut oleh Yesus adalah yg berdukacita, orang seperti ini yang disebut berbahagia dan mendapat penghiburan dari Tuhan.. bukan seperti orang farisi yang merasa bahwa dia hidup layak dan benar dihadapan Tuhan.
Saudara, Dalam Perjjanjian lama ketika Daud berdosa, ia berzinah dengan Betsyeba, dan ia tegur oleh nabi Natan, maka ia sadar akan dosanya, ia berkabung dan berdukacita. Ia menangis dihadapan Allah karena dosanya.

Minggu lalu kita sudah belajar ttg “Berbahagialah mereka yang miskin di hadapan Allah.” Di sini miskin artinya kita mengakui dengan penuh kesadaran akan ketidaklayakan dan ketidakberdayaan manusia di hadapan Allah. Orang-orang yang sadar akan ketidaklayakan dan ketidakberdayaannya akibat dosa-dosanya, dia akan merasa miskin dihadapan Allah. Orang yang berdosa, dan telah dijamah oleh Allah dia memahami dengan benar siapa dirinya, sehingga dia merasa miskin dihadapan Allah.
Orang yang berdukacita atas dosa ialah orang yang sadar telah menyakiti hati Tuhan. Dia sadar telah melenceng dari maksud Allah yang telah menciptakannya. Dia sadar tidak bisa memenuhi standar kekudusan Allah. Apalagi jika dia tahu apa yang benar tetapi masih melakukan apa yang salah. Maka dia akan menjadi orang yang sangat berduka atas dosa-dosanya itu.
Ilustrasi: Ada seorang ibu yang begitu sibuk, sehingga untuk memperhatikan anaknya, ia tidak sempat, dia pagi-pagi sudah pergi kerja, pulang malam, bahkan ia tidak pernah memandikan anaknya. Anaknya seringkali meminta kepada ibunya untuk memandikan, tetapi ibunya katakan, kan ada suster. Anak ini memiliki kerinduan agar mamanya sekali-kali menggantar atau menjemput dia ke sekolah, tetapi selalu dikatakan tidak ada waktu. Satu saat anak ini, kakinya terinjak paku, susternya mengatakan , adik kena paku kakinya, dia merasa sakit dan demam, ibunya ini mengatakan ini sudah malam besok setelah pulang kerja baru kita bawa ke dokter, sekarang kasih dia obat panadol untuk menurunkan panasnya, besok dia gak usah ke sekolah.
Ternyata anak ini kena tetanus, dan ketika ibu dan bapanya besoknya ke tempat kerja anak ini meninggal. Ibu bapanya begitu sedih, ibu ini sangat sedih dan sangat berdukacita karena dia lalai, dan tidak memperhatikan anaknya, bahkan anaknya meminta untuk dia memandikan dia tidak ada waktu, dan hari itu dia memandikan anaknya yang pertama kali dan untuk terakhir kali.
Saudara bisa bayangkan betapa sedih hati dari ibu ini,… Saudara, kalau kita menggambarkan tentang arti kata “dukacita” yang dimaksud Tuhan Yesus seperti kesedihan ibu ini. Kata dukacita, memberi pengertian suatu dukacita yang luar biasa, dukacita yang tak tertahankan. Oleh karena kita merasa menyesal tidak hidup sesuai dengan kehendak Allah.
Saudara, pernahkah kita menangis dan menjerit di hadapan Allah karena kita ini orang berdosa. Kita pantas mendapatkan hukuman. Kita merasa tidak layak di hadapan Allah yang kudus. Kalau pernah seperti inilah yg disebut dukacita karena dosa.
Pernahkah kita jatuh didalam dosa, dan kita menangis, kita merasa bahwa dihadapan Allah kita begitu jijik?
Saudara. Dulu, saya pernah menangis karena dosa, saya tahu bahwa anugerah Tuhan, begitu luar biasa bagi saya, Tuhan begitu mengasihi saya, namun saya menyia-nyiakan anugerah Tuhan, saya hidup didalam dosa. Ketika saya menyadari bahwa saya berdosa, saya merasa tidak layak, bahkan saya merasa bahwa Tuhan tidak mungkin lagi mengampuni segala dosa saya…tetapi setelah saya mengakui dosa, saya mendapat kelegaan dan penghiburan dari Tuhan.
Apakah anda pernah menangis karena dosa-dosa anda, dosa-dosa yang telah anda lakukan atau pernahkan anda menyesal dan berdukacita ketika anda telah menyakiti seorang yang lain? Atau tidak pernahkah kita menangis karena dosa-dosa kita lakukan?
Pemazmur dalam Mazmur 39:13 mengungkapkan betapa ia menangis dan berdukacita atas dosa yang dilakukan. Dikatakan , "Dengarlah doaku, ya TUHAN, dan berilah telinga kepada teriakku minta tolong, janganlah berdiam diri melihat air mataku! Sebab aku menumpang pada-Mu, aku pendatang seperti semua nenek moyangku." Dalam ayat 9 ia berkata, "Lepaskanlah aku dari segala pelanggaranku..... janganlah berdiam diri melihat air mataku." Disini kita melihat bahwa pemazmur mengerti apa itu pertobatan, seorang yang bertobat tidak sekedar menyesal, tetapi melupakan dan merasa berduka atas dosanya.
Hal yang sama di sampaikan oleh pengkhotbah dalam Pengkhotbah 7:3-4, "Bersedih lebih baik dari pada tertawa, karena muka muram membuat hati lega. Orang berhikmat senang berada di rumah duka, tetapi orang bodoh senang berada di rumah tempat bersukaria."
Saudara, apa yang disampaikan pengkhotbah adalah suatu kebenaran, karena ditempat dukacita, kita menemukan banyak orang menjadi percaya. Dari orang tidak percaya, menjadi percaya Tuhan. (Di gereja kita banyak orang yang mengalami pertobatan setelah mereka menghadiri kerabatnya yang meninggal) tetapi anehnya banyak orang lebih senang ke tempat pesta, bioskop, diskotik dan lain-lain. Jarang orang tertarik pada acara-acara dukacita.. Karena menurut mereka bahwa penghiburan itu tidak dapat di temukan ditempat-tempat seperti itu.
Namun, kalau kita memikirkan kembali, ditempat apa yg banyak terjadi dosa? Apakah di rumah duka? Tidak..,tetapi tempat hiburan manusia kita banyak menemukan dosa, bahkan orang yg baik masuk ditempat hiburan malah akan menjadi orang yg tidak baik. Hari ini kalau orang stress, banyak masalah, dia mencari penghiburan; kemana mereka pergi? ke diskotik, karaoke, mengharapkan mendapat penghiburan tetapi yg didapat hal yg sebaliknya.
Bagaimana supaya kita mengerti arti penghiburan yang sejati? Untuk mengerti arti
penghiburan sejati, maka kita harus mengerti terlebih dahulu apa artinya berdukacita. Dengan mengerti arti dukacita maka kita akan mengerti arti sukacita, dan penghiburan yang sejati. Orang yang tidak tahu apa artinya menangis tidak tahu apa artinya kelegaan. Inilah yang dikatakan oleh pengkhotbah di sini. "Bersedih lebih baik dari pada tertawa, karena muka muram membuat hati lega."
Tidak ada hal yang lebih menyegarkan dibandingkan dengan air mata pertobatan: seumpama kita mengalami kehausan dan mendapat segelas air sejuk, maka ketika kita meminumnya kita akan mendapat kelegaan, demikian pula dengan , orang yang mengalami ikatan dan pergumulan oleh karena dosa yang mengikatnya. Namun dengan belas kasihan Allah ia dibebaskan dari dosanya.
Dukacita itu seharusnya tidak hanya ada ketika pertama kali kita mengenal Tuhan Yesus. Dukacita itu seharusnya ada setiap saat sehabis kita berbuat dosa dan menyadarinya. Jikalau setelah berbuat dosa atau jatuh didalam dosa tetapi kita tidak berdukacita, kita tidak merasa sedih atau benyesal dan beduka atas dosa kita, maka kita harus perlu bertanya kepada diri kita, masih adakah Roh Kudus dalam hati kita? Karena setiap orang percaya ketika jatuh didalam dosa, pasti mengalami apa itu kesedihan, penyesalan akn dosa yg telah kita perbuat.
Bagi orang percaya, dukacita atas dosa menjadi tanda bahwa kita peka dan kita benci dengan dosa. Ini juga menjadi semacam peringatan akan kondisi hubungan kita dengan Allah, apakah jauh atau dekat. Namun dukacita seperti ini tidak muncul dengan sendirinya dan tidak bisa dibuat-buat. Ini adalah pekerjaan Roh Kudus dibarengi pertobatan kita.
Kepekaan terhadap dosa yang menimbulkan dukacita ini juga semakin tajam ketika kita semakin mengerti Firman Tuhan. Dengan mengerti Firman Tuhan, kita mengerti kehendak Allah yang sempurna, apa yang benar dan salah. Karena itu terbukalah kepada Roh Kudus, taat, dan menyelidiki Firman Tuhan akan membuat kita semakin peka akan dosa dan berduka atasnya.
II. Dukacita karena dosa orang lain
Apa yang membuat kita bersedih dan berdukacita? Kehilangan sesuatu yg berharga…seorang keilangan uang…kehilangan harta? Pernahkah kita menangis melihat begitu banyak saudara-saudari kita yang jauh dari Tuhan dan hidup dalam dosa.
Apakah saudara ketika melihat orang jatuh dalam dosa, kita merasa sedih, atau kita berfikir itu bukan urusan saya…apakah ketika saudara melihat keluarga seseorang berantakan kita bersedih, apakah kita merasa sedih ketika gereja-gereja tidak lagi memikirkan tentang penginjilan, tetapi sibuk dengan keuangan dan organisasinya
Tuhan Yesus, sering menangis, bukan karena sedih atau berdukacita karena kematian seseorang tetapi ketika dia melihat orang-orang di sekitarnya tidak percaya kepadanya. Ia menangisi Yerusalem, karena mereka tidak mengenal Tuhan, yang benar dan tidak menerima keselamatan dari Tuhan.
Saudara, mengapa kita harus berdukacita atas dosa, orang lain, karena Allah telah mengasihi kita, ia telah mati di kayu salib untuk dosa kita, dia juga telah mengajarkan kita untuk membagikan kabar keselamatan itu kepada orang lain. Namun kita melihat masih banyak orang yang hidup diluar Tuhan. Mereka sedang berjalan kearah kebinasaan…
Saudara, beberapa tahun lalu di USA terjadi satu kejadian yang sangat menggemparkan, dimana ada seorang anak yg sedang berjalan di pelabuhan laut, tiba-tiba kakinya menyentu tali jangkar kapal dan ia jatuh dan tenggelam dan akhirnya mati..hal yang membuat orang bingung pada waktu itu adalah, karena tidak jauh dari anak itu jatuh seorang atlit renang yang sedang duduk, namun dia tidak berusaha menolong anak ini, orang tua anak ini melaporkan org ini ke poloisi dan diadili namun dia bebas karena menurutnya dia menolong atau tidak adalah hak dia..jadi kalau dia tidak menolong tidak masalah…
Apakah kita mau seperti pemuda ini, melihat anak kecil itu mati sedangkan kita bisa menolong dia. Saudara. Banyak orang Kristen seperti pemuda ini, yang melihat orang hidup dalam dosa, kita tahu bahwa dia akan mati didalam dosanya, tetapi dia tidak berusaha menolong dia, untuk lepas dari dosa, bahkan kita membiarkan dia hidup terus menerus dalam dosa.
Banyak orang Kristen, melihat orang berbuat dosa namun tidak berdukacita atas dosa yang dilakukan oleh saudara seimannya tetapi hanya sekedar berbelasungkawa…terkadang saya melihat ketika ada orang meninggal banyak orang mengatakan turut berdukacita atau dari perusahan-perusahan mengirim bunga sekedar berbelasungkawa atau turut berdukacita..saya sering bertanya-tanya dalam hati apakah benar mereka turut berdukacita, atau hanya basa basi..atau sekedar promosi, atau mungkin malah bersyukur…karena ada satu kali seorang pemimpin perusahan meninggal, semua anak buah kelihatan bersedih tetapi ternyata bersyukur, karena pemimpin itu seorang yang suka menindas karyawannya.
Berdukacita, tidak sekedar kita simpati, tetapi juga kita harus berempati, kalau hanya hanya bersimpati, mungkin kita hanya sampai di mulut saja, tetapi tidak merasakan rasa dukacita tersebut. Tetapi kita harus berempati terhadap orang yang hidup didalam dosa, karena dengan demikian kita memiliki keberanian untuk bertindak dan menasehati org yang hidup dalam dosa.
Saudara, kalau hari ini kita melihat bahwa ada saudara kita, jauh dari Tuhan, hidup dalam dosa, kita harus berdukacita atas mereka. Bukan sekedar berdukacita tetapi harus berani membawa mereka datang kepada Tuhan.
Kalau hari ini, kita melihat bahwa gereja tidak lagi menjalankan misi Allah, kita harus berdukacita, kita harus berani untk menolong gereja itu kembali kepada misi Allah. Sama seperti para reformator apakah Marthin Luther, Calvin dlsb. Ketika mereka melihat bahwa gereja tidak lagi mengajarkan firman Tuhan yang benar, gereja telah menyeleweng dari ajaran yg benar, maka mereka berani untuk membuat satu reformasi.
Demikian juga, ketika kita mendengar hari ini ada banyak gereja-gereja di Indonesia telah mengajarkan ajaran yang tidak sesuai firman Tuhan, banyak ajaran-ajaran sesat yang muncul, yg menyesatkan banyak orang percaya. Satu gereja dengan gereja yang lain tidak lagi adanya persekutuan, tetapi yang ada adalah persaingan antar pemimpin Gereja bahkan tidak sedikit gereja yang mengalami perpecahan. Apakah kita berduka atau tidak?
Saudara, sebulan ini saya banyak bergumul dan memikirkan pelayanan saya dan juga masa depan gereja kedepan, karena kebetulan ada salah satu gereja di bawa naungan sinode GKKB, terjadi masalah yang sangat besar. Hamba Tuhannya telah menyimpang dari ajaran firman Tuhan, tidak lagi menjalankan fungsi keimamannya. Hamba Tuhan tidak menjadi hamba Tuhan lagi tetapi hamba uang, tidak lagi menjalankan fungsi sebagai gembala dan banyak pelanggaran moral dan etika. Minggu lalu ketika saya berkhotbah di sana, dalam warta majelisnya mengungkapkan semua kesalahan dan ketidakbenaran dalam gereja tersebut…jujur saya sangat sedih dan berduka, karena apa yang disampaikan majelis gereja ini, juga menampar saya sebagai hamba Tuhan, dan juga mengingatkan saya bahwa hamba Tuhan adalah manusia biasa yang punya kelemahan dan keterbatasan, oleh sebab itu kita perlu berhati-hati. Mengingatkan kepada saya bahwa gereja bisa hancur jikalau para pemimpin gereja, hamba Tuhan hidup tidak sesuai dengan firman Tuhan.
Dalam dunia, kerja..apakah kita berdukacita, orang-orang disekitar kita melakukan ketidakbenaran, melakukan ketidakjujuran, apakah dia teman kerja kita, pemimpin kita, orang dekat dengan kita? Saudara, Ketika kita melihat dalam dunia kerja kita mulai ada penyimpangan, mulai adanya ketidakadilan, maka kita harus berdukacita, ketika kita mereformasi lingkungan kita mungkin, kita akan ditentang, mungkin kita akan dianggap suci, mungkin kita tidak disenangi, disitulah letak dukacita kita.
Namun, dibalik semua dukacita yang kita alami, kita harus percaya bahwa ada satu penghiburan dari Tuhan, yang kita akan dapati..sebagaimana dikatakan Yesus dalam Yohanes 16:20 sesungguhnya kamu akan menangis dan meratap, tetap dunia akan bergembira; kamu akan berdukacita, tetapi dukacitamu akan menjadi sukacita.
Sdr. Tidak mudah untuk bisa berdukacita, atas dosa orang lain, tidak mudah untuk mengungkapkan kebenaran, namun saudara semua yang kita alami, akan berubah sukacita. Segala dukacita kita akan menjadi sukacita.. Dukacita atas dosa menghasilkan sukacita atas pengampunan dan hidup kekal di dalam Tuhan Yesus.
Hiburan bagi kita adalah pengampunan dan hidup kekal. Allah akan mengubah ratapan atas dosa menjadi hiburan karena Tuhan Yesus telah menanggung dosa-dosa kita di dalam kematian-Nya dan memberi kehidupan di dalam hidup-Nya
Kesimpulan:
Apa yang dimaksud dengan berbahagialah orang yang berdukacita? Kata berdukacita, berbicara tentang dukacita atas dosa pribadi dan juga melihat orang lain hidup didalam dosa. Seorang berdukacita oleh karena dosa pribadinya, menunjukan bahwa dia benar-benar mengakui, menyesali akan segala dosanya, dan mau dibaharui dan dituntun oleh Tuhan. Oleh sebab itu dengan kerendahan hati dia mau Tuhan mau mengubah hidupnya. Inilah yang disebut Yesus orang yang berbahagia.
Kedua; Orang yang berdukacita atas dosa orang lain, adalah orang yang benar-benar memiliki hati seperti Yesus. Hati yang mengasihi orang-orang berdosa, mengasihi jiwa-jiwa yang mengenal kasih Tuhan. Mengasihi jiwa-jiwa yang berjalan dalam kegelapan dan dosa.
Orang seperti diatas yang dikatakan yesus adalah orang berbahagia dan akan mendapat penghiburan yang kekal dari Allah. Penghiburan itu berupa keselamatan yang kekal dari Allah.
Saudara, marilah kita menjadi orang yang selalu berdukacita atas kehidupan kita yang penuh dengan dosa, marilah kita berdukacita atas orang-orang yang hidup dalam kegelapan dan dosa, karena itulah yang diinginkan Allah bagi kita. Amin.
