Preliminary
We often hear the adage that says "do not know can not be loved" proverb actually, would explain how important our recognition of someone. This proverb is also would explain the recognition of a person is a basis to build a relationship with someone else. A normal relationship should begin with a single introduction. Brother, what will become if we are living as husband and wife but did not know each other, what would happen when parents do not recognize their children, what will become of our business partnership with someone we do not know. Therefore the introduction of something very important.

Therefore, in premarital counseling, when there are young couples who want to get married and the wheel came to me, I always ask, one question, do you know him well, how long have you known him? How much you know him? I'm not asking if you love each other?

What is an introduction to God:

I. What knowledge of God

Why we have to knowing God

I. So that people know the will of God in their lives

Brother in a relationship with God, God wants human beings to understand what the desire of God. God wants people to understand what the will of God for them.

Applications: Dear friends, we humans are weak and limited, we can not know God's will in our lives, we may feel that what we do is God's will, but is actually something that hurts the heart of God, could have a way of life that we take we think is the will of God, but in fact is not God's will. Therefore very important for us to know God so that we understand the will of God in our lives, our families and in our work.

Further, why should we know God?
II. For us to have an intimate relationship with God
Dear friends, as I have said in the beginning that what determines our closeness with someone is on our recognition of that person. So our closeness or intimacy with God is determined by how much we know Him.

Brothers, the nation Israel is a nation that seems to know God, but actually they do not know their God. What evidence they do not know their God? Therefore they do not know God properly, thus affecting their relationship with God. Their worship to God becomes a menacing routines, they give offerings were not acceptable before God because it was given only as a ritual without meaning, even crudely impressed.

In fact, not only God's people who do like it, the TTP of the priests of our Lord to serve him, doing things that hurt God's heart. They taught the teachings that are not true, and strangely enough such teachings are loved by the people of Israel.

Beloved brother of the Lord, the knowledge of God are intimately associated with our relationship with God, including closely related to our worship to God. Closely related to our worship to God. Closely related to our prayers to God.

III. For us to walk in the truth

In chapter 4:1, God said there is no truth in this city, there is no love, no loyalty and no recognition of God, What makes them do not live in the truth:

First: The priests did not teach the correct teachings.

Truth is derived from our recognition of God. But the question is: how can we know the true God

Brothers, in Joh. 8:31-32 teaches that only in His Word we can know the liberating truth. In other words, only through the Word we can find the real truth (true knowledge of God). There is no other way, only by contemplating His Word, we can know Him properly, and by the recognition that our attitudes and our motives will be purified.

IV. Lead people to believe really believe God sunguh
Why did the Israelites to worship idols? All done because they did not know their God correctly. When they do not know God to justify, then make them hesitate to believe in the power of God in their lives.
Knowing God is very important. If we do not know God, we can not really believe in God. How can we trust someone we do not know? Even the Word of God says that the introduction of God will determine our salvation.
John 17:3
This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
Mr. Eternal life the same as knowing God, eternal life is not the same as going to church every week, not the same as we serve the Lord. So we can come to church every week but we do not truly know God, so we can actively serve God, but we really do not know who we serve.

Francis A. Schaeffer said: "I do what I think, I think what I believe." What do we do (do) in our lives - our attitudes, relationships, communication, worship, serve, work, study, etc.. - Influenced by how the introduction (think) we are against what we believe (believe). The attitude of life, service, and our communications would be nice if the knowledge of God is good. Dear friends, We can be strong or not face problems of this life, it depends on how our knowledge of God. As we face the problem, if we do not know God, we can not trust God. If we know the Lord, we will never find a shaman. Therefore it is very important to know God.
If we know God, we can entrust ourselves to Him. Believed to entrust themselves are two different things. There are people who believe just at the stage. That's good! But not quite got there. We also have to trust yourself. Examples like this. There are people who believe the same God. But when there is a problem, he entrusted himself to the shaman, to mind his own mind. Well, believe the trust is different. If we are convinced is true, trust him also must be true. Proof of our belief in God is if we dare to entrust ourselves to Him. If we know the Father, have experience with the Father, we certainly would not dare to entrust ourselves to Him. That is why God wants us to know God and know him as Father.

We may believe in God as Father. But do we ever experience it as our Father? Because some Christians 'he said'. They are Christians who never see or experience God as Father. Because there are people who believe in God, but they could not trust himself. Because they only believe in the mind alone. To believe in our hearts, we must experience God and have experiences with God. If we already have that, then we can go on the second step is to love God and serve Him eventually.
Conclusion:
Will the introduction of God something that is important for us believers, because through the true knowledge of God, enabling us to be able to know God's will in our lives, enabling us to have an intimate relationship with God, lead us to be able to walk in the truth and guides us to believe earnestly to God.
